Hailing from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, Ananya Singh emerged victorious in her first attempt at the UPSC exam. Her journey towards success began during her schooling years at St Mary’s Convent School, where she exhibited remarkable academic prowess. Ananya Singh secured the top position in her district for both Class 10th and 12th examinations under the CISCE board.

Ananya Singh Passion for Reading Pays Off
After completing her schooling, Ananya pursued her graduation in Economics Honors from the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce in Delhi. Throughout her academic journey, she displayed immense dedication and commitment to her studies, which laid a strong foundation for her future endeavors.
Apart from her academic achievements, Ananya Singh possesses other remarkable talents. She is proficient in playing the synthesizer and has a genuine passion for reading. In an interview with Delhi Knowledge Track, she shared her experience of preparing for the UPSC exam. Ananya mentioned that after the Main exam, she resumed practicing answer writing, acknowledging the significance of this skill. Despite facing time constraints, she managed to excel in her first attempt at the UPSC exam.
Presently, Ananya Singh serves as an IAS officer in West Bengal, where she contributes her skills and knowledge for the betterment of society. Her appointment to this prestigious position showcases not only her academic brilliance. But also her dedication to public service and her ability to make a positive impact in her role.
