At the age of 29, Dilkhush Kumar’s journey commenced as a rickshaw puller on the bustling streets of Delhi, simultaneously vending vegetables in the city of Patna. Fast forward to the present day, and he presides over a thriving corporate empire, employing a multitude of skilled professionals.

Notably, Kumar’s business acumen has led him to establish not one but two successful enterprises. The inception of ‘AryaGo’ in 2016 marked his initial foray, and subsequently, the brainchild ‘RodBez’ emerged, boasting an expansive network of over 4,000 vehicles.

Hailing from a modest background, Dilkhush Kumar pursued his education until the intermediate level (class XII). His father, Pawan Khan, worked as a bus driver. The villagers’ conjectures that a bus driver’s son would inevitably follow in his father’s footsteps were promptly debunked by Dilkhush.

After relocating to Delhi in pursuit of livelihood opportunities, his initial attempts yielded no success, compelling him to resort to rickshaw pulling. Adversity struck when he fell ill, compelling his return to his hometown and a determination to forge a distinct path.

The pivotal turning point materialized when Kumar secured a loan of 5.5 lakhs from Bihar’s government-initiated seed fund for startups. This financial impetus facilitated the launch of his cab service venture, christened ‘AryaGo,’ in October 2016. The operational purview of AryaGo extended beyond Saharsa, encompassing neighboring districts such as Supaul and Darbhanga, signifying the enterprise’s rapid expansion and reach.

In light of the resounding positive reception, Dilkhush Kumar entrusted the stewardship of ‘AryaGo’ to his wife and a consortium of associates. Unyielding in his pursuit of innovation, he conceived yet another enterprise last year – ‘Roadways,’ rebranded as ‘RodBez’ for colloquial resonance.

Dilkhush Kumar eloquently articulates his vision, “The current scenario sees an alarming wastage of approximately 1.25 billion liters of fuel daily, largely attributed to the conventional unidirectional travel of taxi services across cities. Our mission entails fostering a collaborative community of cab drivers, transcending geographical boundaries.

To realize this ambition, our dedicated team of software engineers is developing cutting-edge technologies that amalgamate data from diverse cab service providers. This innovation empowers users to seamlessly hail cabs even in cities where our services are not yet established.”

Expanding on his revolutionary concept, Kumar expounds, “The crux of initiating Bihar’s longest one-way taxi network is profoundly simple. Our application has the potential to yield a substantial reduction of 40-60% in cab fare, concurrently curbing fuel consumption. Moreover, it offers a tangible augmentation in the income of taxi drivers, potentially elevating their earnings by an impressive Rs. 10,000 – 15,000.”

For those intrigued by the narrative of an underdog’s ascension, Dilkhush Kumar’s trajectory serves as a poignant testament to the power of resilience, innovation, and unwavering determination.
