Who is Rinku Singh?

Rinku Singh is an Indian cricketer who has played for the Uttar Pradesh cricket team in domestic cricket tournaments. He was born into a humble family in Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh, India, where his family struggled to make ends meet. Rinku was passionate about cricket from a young age and practised whenever he got the chance, even though he didn’t have the proper equipment.

Rinku Singh’s father is a cylinder delivery man

Khanchandra Singh, Rinku’s father works as a cylinder delivery man, while his mother is a housewife. Rinku is third among his 5 siblings. For many years, the family lived in a 2-room quarter which was provided by the cylinder company.

When Rinku was about to start his cricket journey, his brother was working as a sweeper in a coaching class. Moreover, sam job was offered to Rinku. But he said a ‘NO’ and assured his parents that cricket would take his family to achieve great heights.

In an interview, Rinku’s friend opened up that Rinku’s father was against his decision to become a cricketer. As the family had a low income, and many struggles in life. But Rinku was always determined for his wildest dreams.

When Rinku gifted a bike to his father

Rinku once participated in a tournament and was awarded a bike for his exceptional performance. He gave his bike to his father so that delivery of cylinders would become easier. This kind gesture made his father feel proud and then he realized his son’s dream to become a cricketer. And substantially, Rinku’s father became his biggest motivation.

Hard work always pays off

Rinku worked very hard during his struggling days. He used to wake up early in the morning and go straight for running. After that, he spent some time in the gym and followed by cricket practice. This was a very exhaustive routine. And hence, he always followed a strict diet.

Despite the challenges he faced, Rinku remained humble and grateful for the opportunities he had been given. He never forgot his roots and continued to inspire others with his story.
