Srushti Jayant Deshmukh, an esteemed civil servant, has captivated a substantial following in India. With a remarkable background in Chemical Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, Deshmukh soared to an impressive fifth position in the UPSC CSE 2018 examination.
Outshining 182 fellow female candidates who successfully cracked the Union Public Service Commission exam that year, Srushti Jayant Deshmukh emerged as the top performer. In an interview following her monumental achievement, she confidently declared, “I firmly resolved that my inaugural attempt would be my ultimate one.”

From Bhopal to National Inspiration: Srushti Jayant Deshmukh Remarkable Journey
Born in 1995, Srushti Jayant Deshmukh hails from the serene Kasturba Nagar in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. She completed her education at Carmel Convent School in Bhopal, where she exhibited exceptional academic prowess, attaining a perfect 10 CGPA in her 10th-grade exams and an impressive 93.4% in her Class 12th board examinations.
Beyond her remarkable academic feats, Deshmukh has dedicated herself to uplifting the living standards of rural communities. She played a pivotal role in implementing various government schemes, notably including the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana, aimed at improving the housing conditions of underprivileged populations.
Srushti Jayant Deshmukh path to success intersected with that of fellow IAS officer Nagarjuna B Gowda during their rigorous training at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in the picturesque city of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. Following a two-year courtship, the dynamic duo exchanged vows. Gowda, hailing from a humble middle-class family in Karnataka, holds an esteemed MBBS degree and secured an impressive AIR 418 in UPSC CSE 2018.
