The Concept

Lourdes, Sabrcare’s founder, witnessed her mother’s cancerous condition. There are effective cancer treatments available in India, but patients and caregivers lack knowledge about them.

About | Sabrcare Trust

Four companions of Lourdes helped her set up the trust. The trust was established on June 4, 2018. The team at Sabrcare is the focus of this inspirational tale. Namrata Desai, Roma Dias, Steffie Antao, Lourdes Soares, and Dr. Anupama Mukherjee make up the Sabrcare trustees’ group. The companions had seen individuals near them go through an excursion of malignant growth. In order to assist cancer patients in overcoming this difficult challenge in life, the group of friends made the decision to work in cancer care in India.

Problems faced:

Lourdes conducted interviews with more than 200 cancer patients to learn about their experiences and challenges. She was able to identify 15 ways that Sabrcare can assist cancer patients thanks to the interviews.

Due to financial strain and a lack of resources, many families delay cancer treatment. Public malignant growth care focuses on having a huge number of patients, and hanging tight can be unpleasant for the patients.

Sabrcare Work

The point is to give the right disease care to individuals who live in and around Goa. The majority of those supported by Sabrcare come from economically disadvantaged communities. These people battle with getting fundamental medical care necessities, clean drinking water, and confined assets.

Center around young people

Sabrcare centers around youngsters with diseases and their families.

Lourdes believes that the cancer care system in India has flaws that cause the most harm to children. Children experience the experience of missing their childhood as well, and it is a frightening one for them.

Additionally, the organization has actively organized camps for blood donors to assist children who require blood. Sabrcare likewise works on a gift drive at various events. Occasionally, Sabrcare presents cancer patients with gifts funded by donations.
