Compassion fills your heart when you will meet Paulami Patel, 29, from Mumbaikal. Her radiant smile, without her right arm and having undergone more than 45 surgeries, puts her empath to shame and her belief that “her disability really depends on what she thinks.” Overcoming her obstacles, she became a successful entrepreneur and an inspiration to all who give in to their own shortcomings and give up when things go wrong. In 2001, 12-year-old Paulami Patel visited her paternal uncle’s house in Hyderabad. After five semesters of standardized exams, she spent the summer vacation with my cousin. Her days were filled with laughter and crazy games, but one afternoon she decided to play the role of her cousin. They were both pretending to be fishing on the second-floor balcony of their house. It was a normal day with children playing and the elderly resting downstairs after dinner. Upstairs, while she was playing, he tied a metal instrument to an iron pole and threw it off the balcony like a hook to pretend to be the sea, when the pole slipped out of my hand. I fell and got tangled in a hanging wire. She grabbed a stick, thinking it was a thread for hanging clothes. To her surprise, it was a live wire that gave her her 11,000-volt electric shock!

She was shaking and bleeding beyond belief. The electric current intensified when she touched the steel chair beside her in between shivering. Somehow she managed to scream once before running away. The power was cut off and his charred body fell to the ground. Hearing her screams, relatives rushed to the balcony and found her unconscious, her clothes torn and blood dripping on the floor. They rushed her to Apollo Hospital, where she was said to have about 80% burns. Her mother never expected anything bad to happen to her, but her father was sensitive to reality. They were shocked to find a girl, bandaged from head to toe, fighting for her life.

Within a month at Apollo Hospital where she received basic care, she was cleared for an ambulance ride to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. She spent about eight months there, living as close to normal life as possible.

Paulami couldn’t understand why the girl had no arms. Moreover, all who visited her expressed deep remorse, a constant reminder of her haunting tragedy. People were screaming about how destined her life was, especially since she was a girl. Her lust died a slow and horrible death in a tumult of pity. At such times, her parents protect her. It not only gave her the strength to cope with the loss, but it also gave her a new outlook on life. is not. Her unwavering optimism made up for all his shortcomings. A testament to his spirit, his school and teachers have proven to be a huge support system. Instead, she had all the notes and resources to study at the hospital, and the writer knew she was helping her write his final exams. In the same year, she underwent surgery for a prosthetic hand.

We were impressed by the fact that Paulami, who lost an arm at a young age and had his pride shaken by fate, is now an MBA graduate and an entrepreneur. She runs a one-man heavy equipment business for her entire family. Palaumi’s private life is full of her love. Prami, whose future is doomed by society due to her inability to find a suitable partner, finds selfless love in her childhood best friend Sandeep Jotwani.

She married her four years ago and it seems her love is still blooming. They really define compatibility, understanding and compassion.

We all have different thoughts about ourselves in our heads. Threads often join together spontaneously. Paulami Patel is a good example of our thinking. If she decides to consider herself a sick person, she will be a sick person for the rest of her life, feeling sorry for herself and cursing her fate. Instead, her decision to see herself as a normal girl with no limits kept the flame of hope burning in her heart again. He is an adventurous person who enjoys skydiving, bungee jumping and driving. She is passionate about writing and business. To encourage her, her mother introduced her to several people who use her prosthetics but are still actively involved in her life. Today, she has inspired many people.
